¿WHaT ThE HiLL?

ok...so i'm home.
*angels sing*
camp was ...HORRIBLE.
no, horrible doesn’t even begin to describe it.
(btw, how'd ya like the brother's blog? ...heheh...i figured i'd allow him to write something in there while i was gone, just to throw you off.)
~REMIX~
ok, so yeah, about the "HoRRIBLE doesnt even begin to describe it" camping experience.
well, thats pretty self explanatory. as you can see, its around 8:30, and i'm up. YES, only because during the past week, we had to be completely ready every morning by 7:20 so we could begin the journey (by foot) to our food. it was GREEEEEAAATTTTTTTT. well, that was only after going down 7 flights of stairs since we were on the 7th floor of a building that's being condemned after this year. Nice, eh? it got to the point by the end of the week that we finally just sat there and watched the roaches crawl up the walls instead of killing ourselves attempting to kill the little bastards. (they just dont die)
(by the way, elizabeth, ya gotta watch out for those ants that ride the elevator just to get to the pretzels on our floor...heheh...)

ANYWAYS, the usual full day went a little something like this:
7:20 - be outside of room, ready for breakfast
7:30/7:40 - eat NASTY breakfast (which usually included runny unsalted eggs, a bagel, and if we were lucky, some fresh fruit)
7:40/8:00 - we got the privilege of walking from the Cafeteria to the Intramural Center (which is NOT an easy walk)
8:00/12:30 - included warm up, review class, cheer class, chant class, stunt class, private coaching, and other various classes.
12:30/1:40 - lunch (including the hike from the gym to cafeteria, and then back to dorms) supposedly - although you'll find out later why we didnt get lunch 2 of the days
1:40/1:55 - the usual hike back to the gym
2:00/4:30 - more classes (usually private coaching or team UCA)
4:30/5:40 - dinner. (why it was so early? i dont know.) anyways, we went back to the cafeteria, and then dorm.
5:40/6:00 - get everyone together and walk back to gym (intramural center).
6:00/9ish - nightly evaluations, jump offs, all star tryouts, ect.
9ish/whenever - walk back to dorms, and then do whatever (usually eat or watch movies, ect.) until we finally get our showers and settle down for the night. and yes, they were community bathrooms. ALWAYS FUN!!! blah. Elizabeth and i usually caught our shower around 12:30 so that we didnt have little JV'ers running around screaming about 'body parts' - one would figure (by now) that they've realized they have them too. (*scariest voice* -- or maybe....they dont....)
ANYWAYS, then we went to bed...whenever we felt like it. (usually after our nightly talks about ...things...) *smile*

so there ya have it...a normal day...or should i say, how the day was SUPPOSED to go.
so you now ask, well, what made it so bad?

well, on the 2nd day, all the dancers were dismissed early, and got their food just in time for the power to go out when we got there. nice, eh? by then they figured we would eat cold green beans and hamburgers - without anything to drink! (since the machines were powered by electricity) and DAMNIT! the only thing i really wanted was an enormous drink that i could sit there and refill over and over!
that happened again the 3rd day at lunch - which pissed the hell out of me.
nothing like working your ass off (since the mornings were the hardest) never really getting a water break considering there were 300-some girls there and 4 water fountains, walking all the way to the cafeteria (about a 20 minute walk) to find that there are no drinks and nothing edible, turning around and walking back to the dorm, only to climb 7 flights of pitch black stairs (there was no generator since the building is being torn down) to get to the dorm room. oh, and after walking up 7 stories of stairs, we get in our room to find that the air conditioner was out. i wanted to cry!!!!! ...but i didnt.
and of course, what would cheerleading camp be if the attitudes weren’t raging????
(and this year was worse since i was the captain and in charge of making them work)
i wont go into details about the attitudes - because as we've previously established in former blogs - the audience is unknown. plus, to fully convey to you all the rage i was feeling, it would take some serious vocabulary...and i'm not in the mood.

GUYS STOP READING HERE
oh yeah, and for all you girls who understand this... of all the things that could have happened at camp, whats the one thing that would suck more than anything? The Period. oh yeah...how great was that?
GUYS RESUME READING HERE

ANYWAYS, there is so much more i cant talk about - and i've already said alot. so i'm just going to sit here in my sweatshirt and bloomers, and nurse my ankle back to it's original health. (they think i sprained it)
oh no laura! sprained ankle, however did you do that?!
yeah, lets just say - you have to come over to my house to watch the video. Its ‘Hill’arious. (…so cheesy)
kinda like a bad, bad movie.
i was trying out for all-stars, did a round-off, and twisted my ankle. it hurt like hell but i managed to make it through the tryouts and finish.
of course, i didnt make it - how the hell am i supposed to do a toe-touch/cheer/dance 5 seconds after twisting an ankle?? ...anyways, i'm not really that upset. honestly! ...maybe it was because the whole week just sucked...maybe it was because i didn’t care anymore...maybe it was the shitty way they judged, i dunno. either way, i just stopped caring for the first time in my life. (kinda sad)
oh, and all the hard work from that week went to waste - we didnt even get to compete in the end. for fear of making myself cry again, (and trust me, i NEVER cry. ~NEVER EVER~ cry. - and i cried the last day) i wont go into details. (you may message me and ask me why, but i'm just not gonna blog about it.)

anyways, as i said before, i'm just going to sit here in my sweatshirt and bloomers, and do nothing. ...a weird feeling now...

if you wanna know more, just (like i said) message me or something.
as for now - in a pitiable state,
~iM OuT~
