so i havent blogged in forever
and i know this.
...REALLLY - theres no need to message me and re-inform me of it.
but thanks for caring?
blah
ok...with that said. ill tell you all about the lots of nothing thats been going on.
...and attempt to make it sound interesting.
Friday night, i just watched some movies, and chilled out a little bit, cuz i had literary rally in the morning at 8:00.
;P
so...friday night was just greeeattt!
...mmhmmm
Saturday, I went to lit rally, which was utterly ridiculous, considering it took me basically 12 minutes to finish the thing, and i had to sit there for a good hour afterwards, waiting on ppl to complete their test so we could walk back together.
...and yes, i would have ditched the 'group' any other day, but i felt i had the responsibility as 'group leader' to watch over the kiddos.
;D - but anyways...
No, i didnt place. and no, i didnt get upset.
...i wish i had though...ya know those colleges are like, DAMN! she can spell! we HAVE to have this girl!!! SHES AMAZING!
Yale def. would have been crawling on their knees begging for my spelling talents.
so after our little escapade over to tech, i make my way back home...
...back to my warm bed...
oh, my one true love...
ANYWAYS, after a nice (and much needed) nap, i woke up and did some laundry, ect ect.
Then at 6 i went to a toga party/banquet with the seniors.
oh gahd, annA, your toga had NOTHING on mine.
mine was the BEST!!! ...well, maybe john had me slightly beat.
but NONETHELESS!!
So after the banquet thingy, there was a dance...
heheh...where Jessica and i executed the campaign i call:
"Shock and Awe...the little boys with booty dancing"
...but the party didnt really start till later.
and that my friends, is where i leave the public eye in the dark.
HEY! i dont know who reads this crap. (and with my luck, the 'rents will sit down and read it, and then all trust in little laura will be lost)
...a tragedy i think this soap opera desires to lack at the moment.
Lets just say, that i have taken it upon myself to make the executive decision that nobody is allowed to use the phrase "Thats the hardest thing in this world" until theyve accomplished what i have.
so with that said, i wanted to add in a little blip from a conversation last night.
...it amused me:
John M: did you hear about
John M: that black muslim in the 101 airborne
John M: that threw grenades on some guys in a tent?
laurajane07: yeah
laurajane07: little dumbf*ck
John M: they should make him wear a sign
John M: when he's in prison
John M: that says "Dumbass N!gger"
John M: ok
John M: I think it's pretty funny
John M: geez
John M: throw me a fricking bone here
laurajane07: lol
laurajane07: ...i think they should make him wear a sign on his back (pointing down) that says "f*ck me here, since i tried to f*ck up my commander"
John M: hahahahahah
Gahd...i swear i have the weirdest conversations sometimes.
OK...so one more thing before i go.
What is with the government and their 3 overused phrases???
1.) coalition - "the 'coalition' this...the 'coalition' forces that...everythings an effin 'coalition' right now."
...i think im gonna rename the cheerleading squad to the "cheerleading coalition"
and then our newfound 'coalition' can go out and get some 'sodas' and 'freedom fries'...
2.) campaign - "it wasnt an attack. it was a 'campaign' against the Iraqi leadersss, guys!"
"we did NOT bomb innocent civilians. This was merely a 'tactical' move to reinforce the security of the campaign "'shock and awe shit', this war is gonna be harder than we thought..."
3.) strategic point - "we were not bombing random buildings, guys. this was a 'strategic point' on the map, and we have now made huge tactical advancements in the war..."
"now, at this 'strategic point', we can capture the enemy forces...without harming ANY INNOCENT CIVILLIANS..."
ohhhh...tskkk tskkk, Laura JAne!
...this was not (by any means) meant to degrade our soldiers, or their bravery/willingness to fight for this country and its beliefs. I appreciate all that they do.
For it is they who bestow upon myself the privilege of sitting here at my computer
ranting about issues that affect me. blahdy blahdy blahdy, ect ect ect... you get the picture.
well, im very tired
(as usual)
so as for now,
~iM OuT~
